Regular Shares
Our Share accounts let you deposit your money into a savings
account. Withdraw of your money is allowed at any time.
Our share account is a variable rate account. This rate
and yield may change at any time at the Credit Unions
discretion. Dividends will be compounded and credited quarterly.
The minimum deposit required to open a share account is
$25. You must maintain a minimum balance of $100 in your
account to obtain the Annual Percentage Yield stated on
the Rate Schedule.
When you open a Share account you become a member/owner
of JACOM Credit Union and have access to all Credit Union
products and services. A share account must be opened and
maintained in order to open any subsequent accounts or to
take advantage of any member services offered.
Share Draft (checking)
Our Share Draft accounts allows you to withdraw your money
and write checks against your account at any time. Our Share
Draft account is a variable rate account. This rate and
yield may change at any time at the Credit Unions
discretion. Dividends will be compounded and credited quarterly.
You must maintain a minimum average daily balance of $100
in your share draft account to obtain the Annual Percentage
Yield stated on the Rate Schedule. Our share draft accounts
feature no monthly or per-check charges.
Certificates
Our certificate accounts let you deposit your money for
a specified period of time. We have both regular share certificate
accounts and IRA certificate accounts. Our certificate accounts
are a fixed rate account. You will be paid the specified
rate and yield until maturity. Dividends will be compounded
and credited monthly.
The minimum deposit required to open a share certificate
account is $1000. The minimum deposit required to open an
IRA certificate is $500. You must maintain an average daily
balance of $1000 in your share certificate and/or $500 in
your IRA certificate account to obtain the Annual Percentage
Yield stated on the Rate Schedule.
All JACOM Credit Union accounts are insured up to $100,000
by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a U.S.
Government Agency.
